🤔 Reflection Question

How safe is it to eat wolf meat?
Hit reply — I’d love to hear your take.

Eating wolf meat is generally considered unsafe and unpalatable due to severe health risks. As apex predators, wolves are frequent carriers of Trichinella parasites, which cause trichinellosis in humans—a painful and potentially fatal condition if the meat isn't cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C). Beyond parasites, their meat is notoriously tough, lean, and carries an offensive, musky odor often compared to a wet dog, making it a last resort even in extreme survival situations. Additionally, you must strictly avoid the liver, which can contain toxic levels of Vitamin A that are dangerous to human biology.
