🤔 Reflection Question
Would you go to meet the uncontacted tribes yourself?
Hit reply — I’d love to hear your take.
🧠 Insight
'While physically surviving an encounter with an uncontacted tribe is possible, it is extremely dangerous for you and often fatal for the tribe. In 2026, experts and international law continue to strongly discourage any attempt to contact these groups. Many groups, such as the Sentinelese of India or the Hongana Manyawa of Indonesia, have established a history of rejecting outsiders. Tribes often use bows and arrows or spears. Incidents where outsiders—including missionaries and fishermen—were killed upon landing are well-documented. Tribes may leave physical warnings, such as crossed spears on a path, to signal that you should stay away.' I'd never suggest anyone to go visit the Amazon in hopes to find the uncontacted tribes. They are terrifying to come across of and simply the stories of people camping and hearing animal noises they shouldn't hear during those hours of night is just bone chilling to me.
