🧠 Insight
'No, people weren't universally living in peace 6,000-9,500 years ago; it was a complex transition period from nomadic hunter-gatherers to settled agricultural societies, marked by both cooperation within small groups and early forms of conflict, with evidence suggesting organized violence (like the Nataruk massacre) existed even among hunter-gatherers, challenging older ideas of inherent peacefulness, while settled life brought new reasons for conflict, such as land and resources.'. I'd say people weren't living in peace 100%, but the amount of wars that happened had diminished due to the conditions of life that were in play at that time. Where you had to first take care of yourself and your people and then think about the war.
