🤔 Reflection Question
What's the point of those tusks?

🧠 Insight
'A male babirusa's upper tusks grow into its skull because the tusks are overgrown canine teeth that grow continuously throughout its life. If the tusks are not worn down through regular activity or broken in a fight, they can curve back and pierce the skull, sometimes leading to the animal's death.' After that it writes that the reason for those weird tusks and how they grow into the skull is still not yet confirmed, but it's thought that they are like that to attract mates, so Forrest Galante might be onto something.
