I've watched this movie once in my life and kind of forgot it existed, unlike the movies like Interstellar and Martian which I found very interesting and sometimes think about to this day. So I guess that says my opinion on this movie, doesn't really hold a special place in my heart nor a place in my memory. This is the answer Google gave me on how scientifically proven the movie is: 'Gravity is praised for its scientific realism in portraying space physics (no sound, spherical water, momentum) and detailed equipment but takes significant dramatic liberties with orbital mechanics, travel times, and the speed of the debris event (Kessler Syndrome) for storytelling, with its science advisor admitting to 'cheating' for plot, making it a gripping drama grounded in real physics but not a documentary.'
