I'd definitely go, there would be a point in time where I'd be fed up with the stomach aches that I would just say f this and go take the number 2. Like there is no worse feeling than being up at night trying not to poop yourself. Not that I experienced anything like that, just saying it doesn't seem fun at all. The price to pay is have some fish try to nibble on your backdoor which is preventable at least but with a bit of effort there.
