🧠 Insight

I believe that there was an animal that was kraken-like, but smaller and less dangerous looking. Since most of the stories from our history are based on an event that actually happened but was overexaggerated to the max by the people that saw it happened and by those that then have spread that story. I truly believe that there was a bigger octopus or a squid that may have attacked a ship and caused some damage but was smaller than it is currently described in the books and myths. There 100% was a similar threat in the oceans that would make the people fear sailing the oceans which would then cause them to make myths and legends about a Kraken type creature to spread the fear they felt about the open waters.
